First trial lesson
Meet Ale, discuss your level and goals, and see whether the lessons are a good fit. No commitment to continue.
You follow the series, you read without much trouble, and then someone asks you a question and nothing comes out. That is not missing knowledge. That is a reflex you have never practised.
Understanding is passive: you have time, context and pictures. Speaking is immediate — you must pick the word, the form and the order in a fraction of a second. You cannot acquire the second one by doing more of the first.
So conversation lessons are not "casual chat for practice". They are repeated exercise of one specific reflex, often enough that it stops costing effort.
I do not interrupt mid-sentence. I note what is worth discussing and come back to it once the thought is finished. Interrupting teaches caution, and caution is exactly what blocks speaking.
I also correct selectively: first what makes you hard to understand, then what sounds unnatural, and only last the small things.
Whatever you would talk about in your own language: work, plans, a film that annoyed you, the news. Textbook topics have one flaw — nobody genuinely wants to discuss them, so the conversation stays polite and dies quickly.
If you are preparing for something specific — a job interview, a trip, meeting your partner’s family — we work on that instead, with the vocabulary and the situations you will actually face.
The honest answer is that it depends on frequency rather than on a number of lessons. The reflex is built by repetition spread over time, which is why two lessons a week do noticeably more than four crammed into one.
I have taught over 6,900 lessons since 2017, and the first change students notice is usually not a bigger vocabulary — it is a shorter pause before they answer. That pause is the real measure of progress.
Enough to understand simple sentences and answer in a few words. If you are a complete beginner, starting from the basics will serve you better — I will say so honestly after the first lesson.
Your first trial lesson is free and lasts 25 minutes, with no commitment to continue. After that, lessons cost PLN 59 for 25 minutes or PLN 109 for 50 minutes. Arrange a time directly through WhatsApp.
No. I correct after a finished thought and pick what actually gets in the way. Constant interruption makes people speak less, which defeats the purpose.
Latin American Spanish — I am from Venezuela and lived in Colombia. The differences are mostly pronunciation and some vocabulary; you will be understood in Spain too.
You can start Spanish from scratch. Lessons are in Spanish, with English explanations when helpful. Share the student’s level in both languages when booking so we can agree whether this approach suits them before the trial.
