First trial lesson
Meet Ale, discuss your level and goals, and see whether the lessons are a good fit. No commitment to continue.
Children learn a language by using it, not by hearing about it. So we talk from the first minute — through games, pictures and stories a child actually wants to finish.
We start with something the child already knows, so the conversation begins without pressure, and only then add new words. Grammar is not delivered as a lecture: the child uses a form inside a sentence that means something, and learns its name later — or not at all, if it is not needed yet.
If a child is into dinosaurs, the vocabulary will be about dinosaurs. That sounds trivial, but it changes the pace of learning, because the child is trying to say something they genuinely care about.
Children pick up rhythm and pronunciation far more easily than adults — but only if they hear them. I was born in Venezuela and later lived in Colombia, and I have taught Spanish since 2017 with an ELE certificate, which is the qualification for teaching Spanish as a foreign language.
Speaking a language and being able to teach it to a child are not the same skill. The certificate is about the second one.
Early goals include understanding simple instructions, introducing oneself and learning words related to the child’s interests. We then work towards short conversations about family and everyday life. Progress depends on age, starting level and regular practice.
We work towards building confidence in speaking, step by step. Progress depends on the starting level, regular lessons and practice; there is no single timetable for fluency.
Latin American Spanish. I was born in Venezuela and lived in Colombia, and that is how I speak in lessons. The differences from the Spanish of Spain are mostly pronunciation and a handful of words; your child will be understood in both.
Lessons run in Spanish from the start, at a level the child can follow. I also speak English, so when something gets genuinely stuck we can unblock it in one sentence instead of losing half a lesson to guessing.
From age 7. Activities and materials are adapted to the child’s age and level. The free trial helps us see how they respond to online lessons.
Your first trial lesson is free and lasts 25 minutes, with no commitment to continue. After that, lessons cost PLN 59 for 25 minutes or PLN 109 for 50 minutes. Arrange a time directly through WhatsApp.
Agree rescheduling, cancellation and payment arrangements with Aleima before starting regular lessons. Bookings through Preply or Classgap are also subject to that platform’s terms.
After the trial, discuss the child’s starting point and next goals. Before regular lessons begin, agree with Aleima how and how often you will discuss progress and practice at home.
The free first trial lasts 25 minutes. After that, you can book 25 or 50 minutes. Activities use songs, pictures and games adapted to the child’s age, level and interests. Discuss the best lesson length after the trial.
Help your child connect and check the sound at the start. For younger children, staying nearby can be helpful while giving them time to answer independently. Agree your involvement with Aleima before the lesson.
You can start Spanish from scratch. Lessons are in Spanish, with English explanations when helpful. Share the student’s level in both languages when booking so we can agree whether this approach suits them before the trial.
No. Most of my students start from zero. The first lesson is for me to see how your child responds and what interests them.
One to one, yes — and the child is at home, in familiar surroundings, which usually helps them relax faster. You need a computer or tablet with a camera and a quiet spot.
